If there was a group for which the gear list was LESS relevant than
Boards of Canada, I can't think of it.
All of their sounds can be made from a sampler, and any of a number
of analogue keyboards. The thing that stands out about their tracks
is their musicality, and they could make great tracks with a cheap
drum machine and a casio keyboard.
